3) If you don't have MS Power Point but wish to enjoy the presentations (w/all animations) that have been posted online, download this browser plug-in from Microsoft.

4) Microsoft Reader for electronic books is a FREE download for Windows users: the MS Reader! Microsoft's Reader is cool, with the ability to let you make notes or draw pictures on book pages.

If you don't know a word, you can click on it, select "look up" and then see the definition, even the definitions of words in the definition! You will need a dictionary installed on your computer to enjoy the "look up" feature. If you need a dictionary, download Microsoft's free dictionary, too. We found that the MicroSoft Reader worked on the Win. 95 system, too, though the Microsoft web site only touts it for Win. '98 and up..

With Office 2000 or Office XP, you can download a free conversion plug-in to publish any word document into Microsoft Reader format..

During installation of the MS Reader, if you don't plan to buy EBooks online, don't select the option to 'begin an set up account'. The reader will work fine without doing so.

After installing the MS Reader, visit the University of Virginia's Electronic (EBook) Library to download hundreds of free books to store in your "My Library" directory that the MS Reader creates on installation..
