The Lunch Express Account, What Is It?

One of the features of our cafeteria is the use of computers at the point-of-sale. Each student has his/her own personal identification number (PIN) in our computer system. Students enter their PIN onto pin pads at our cash registers at meal times. That information is sent to a computer in the manager's office and the purchase total is deducted from your account balance or it tells the cashier you owe money.

So what does that mean for you? Plenty! You can prepay money into your account (just like depositing money in the bank), and you won't have to worry about needing money for food and snacks. If you receive free or reduced-price meals, no one will be able to tell (not even the cashier). By using your Lunch Express Account you will move through the lines faster by not handling cash or waiting for change.

The Lunch Express Account, How To Use It?

To use the prepayment system, come to the Jesse Bethel High School cafeteria any school day during break time, lunchtime, before or after school. Cash or personal checks are accepted. When you prepay you can specify that the money goes toward meals only or a la carte items as well. Warning: though you can deposit money into your account at anytime during lunch, that takes time out of your lunch. If paying with a personal check, please make check payable to "Jesse Bethel Cafeteria".

Deposit cash or a check into your own personal account with the cafeteria. Use your Lunch Express account to purchase breakfast or lunch. You'll move through the lines much faster and you won't have to worry about bringing money with you every day. The computer will automatically deduct purchases from your account and let you know when your balance is low.

What's a box lunch?

Save time and money, buy a box lunch! A box lunch includes your choice of entree, juice or fruit, vegetable or salad and milk for $1.75 or about $2.50 if purchased separately.

Remember to have your Lunch Express account number available. It saves both you and the cashier time.
