School, Grades and Checks
Parents, please make sure your son is attending classes.
You may call the office or teachers to check. The grading system
had changed; there are no more "I"s to make up. You must
have a 2.0 grade point average; you will be allowed one "F".
To calculate yor GPA, add grade points and then divide that by the
number of classes you have. A=4; B=3; C=2; D=1 and F=0. Once you
receive a grade, you may not make it up. Without meeting the grade
requirement, you will not be allowed to play by school and CIF regulation.
Grade checks are an important tool in making sure our athletes are
eligible to play. Grade check sheets may be picked up in Coach Muster's
classroom, H103. They will be turned in weekly to Coach Turner.
If you need help in a class, please talk to your coach.
Parents, work to encourage success with your
child! |
