The
Michael Tracy Pennerman Jr. Memorial Endowment Scholarship is
an annual scholarship which was established in 2004 by Michael's
family and friends at Jesse Bethel High School. The scholarship
represents the desire of Michael's family to foster a climate
of encouraging students to continue their education, and to be
of greater service to our community .
Application packet must be postmarked or hand delivered by 3:00 p.m. on May 12, 2006.

Scholarship
Amount
- $500 per academic year (toward tuition & books) for (1)
year to a graduating senior.
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Applicant must be a graduating senior from a public or private
high school in Vallejo, California. Schools include: Jesse Bethel
High, Vallejo High, Hogan High, St. Patrick/St. Vincent High,
and North Hills Christian High.
- Applicant must be admitted or is eligible for admission to
a College University.
Criteria
- Applicant must be involved in athletics at his/her school.
- Applicant must have earned a high school cumulative GPA of
2.75 at the time of application and must plan to enroll as a
full-time student (12 or more units) for Fall Term 2006.
- Applicant must be involved in some form of community involvement.
Application Process:
- Submit a completed Michael Tracy Pennerman Jr. Memorial Scholarship
application.
- Submit three recommendation letters (one from a teacher, one
from an athletic coach, and one from a community member who
is not related to the student).
- Submit copies of high school transcripts and SAT or ACT scores.
- Submit completed application by: April 29, 2005. Note: Applications
that are not complete will not be considered.
