this is more possible that ever because
Jesse Bethel H.S. has acquired a site
license for Macromedia's
MX Studio. MX Studio provides EVERYTHING
you need to create and develop your own
websites, including graphic software,
an HTML editing program and an FTP client
for uploading your pages to your own site.
The site license includes teacher take-home
rights so that you may begin to maintain
and run your own information website.
Your
school webmaster can provide after-school training in MX Studio
to help you. You should have your software
installed before training begins! You
will be given a template w/banner for
your teacher pages; content need be your
only concern. If you wish to offer this
level of service to your students and
parents please, contact
your JBHS webmaster now!
If
you are a strong self-learner, your webmaster
has a collection
of special online resources, including
FREE online tutorials, for those embarking
on web page and web site design projects.

you prefer working with templates from

The
Jesse Bethel web site has received and
continues to receive many visitors every
week. Typically, we receive between 1800
and 2300 unique visitors who return visits
bring visitorship to between 2600 & 3100. Summer months experience a relatively
small drop in visitorship.
Please
visit the departmental pages for your
department. Could it offer more information
for our visitors? With your help, you
bet!!
Do
you serve on a committee and wish to have
committee meeting times and information
posted? Please contact your web master.
Help
your webmaster to help you and your departments
make the most of this powerful communication
medium. If you find an error, please let
your webmaster know what it is and on
what page to find it. If someone can send
the webmaster as a file attachment the
competencies for various courses in your
departments, they can be posted for your
visitors. You may also have links for
student research to contribute. Those
links will be placed either under the
IMC subject area links pages or at the
departmental pages where links are more
directly related to departmental standards
and learning.
Your
webmaster, also, encourages you to contribute
links at your teacher's page. If you would

course teachers of school-to-career type courses,
the Sacramentio Workforce Online has a website that includes
PDF formatted (you'll need the Adobe Acrobat
Reader browser Plugin) documents
detailing course descriptions which align
with State standards and benchmarks. They are
of interest for those teachers who are preparing
or revising their own courses.
