My name is Susann Evans and I will be teaching your child in his/her chemistry class. I am looking forward to our year together and having the pleasure of supporting the intellectual and personal growth of your child. I have the honor of identifying myself as one of the Jesse Bethel "Pioneers" - I have taught at Jesse Bethel since the school opened. This year is an opportunity for each of us to start anew and add our gifts to our campus and academic life. My bachelor's and master's degrees are in chemistry, with minors in physics, mathematics, and education. I am credentialed to teach those subjects in California, Massachusetts, and Missouri. I have been teaching students (and having a great time doing just that) in the VCUSD since 1991. I look forward to meeting you sometime this year. Please feel free to call if you need information about your child's progress. If you have any items you think might be useful to us in the science department, do not hesitate to call - we use tons of materials in our hands-on science lab classes and love donations!
