We are looking for new members.
- Do you want to learn how to make your own web site? Do you want to work on the Jesse Bethel web site? Well, guess what; the Web Master's Club can help you learn to design your personal web pages and more. Our school Webmaster, Mrs. Malchiodi, is the club advisor. She's an award-winning webmaster.

2 Ways to Set Up Your Own Web Site:
1) Free Web Space
- You can easily find various web sites from internet companies that give free space to you. Some of the more well known ones include Geocities, Microsoft Network, and Apple computer company (for those who own Apple computers).
Advantages:
- free web space
- easy to use templates for getting started.
Disadvantages:
- If you don't use their templates and want to send up pages with your own backgrounds and buttons, Geocities will charge you for the space.
- Generally, all the free web space sites for your homepages will push their advertisers on your visitors. All those pop up, pop under and flashing ads can be annoying to your friends and visitors, so much so that they may not want to ever visit your homepage again, if they even bother to go once. Offsetting the advertising annoyance at Geocities is thatyou can control type of advertising that will be thrown at your visitors....teachers choose advertisers specializing in education and literature, for example. So there are that many advertisers to throw on those pages.
- Another disadvantage to free web space sites is that you often have to have a second account with another web site that may be the parent company site. For example, you have to have a Yahoo account before getting free space at Geocities.

2) Your Own ISP
If you have your own web space, you can send up your web page(s) and graphics for your web page(s) to your own space. For example, if you have AOL, you automatically can have web space for each of the screen names.
