Life After Graduation? It's easy to procrastinate making plans for life after high school when you're enjoing upper class status but still have another year before graduation. You can chose to do nothing and let time overtake you or you can take control of your life by preparing for the future! Do you have a plan? Your Junior year is an important time to discover some excellent opportunities for post-secondary schooling and scholarships. Usually, these opportunities get over-looked in the time crunch of the senior year.

We have some great resources on campus to help you make plans for your future. Not only will you get information but you'll also get a lot of help in completing applications, learning what's available to you and meeting deadlines. And to think that it's all for FREE. Visit the Career Center on campus or make and appointment to see your counselor for guidance.

If you like researching the internet for information, you can visit our special webpage filled with online resources for scholarships, college programs and career opportunities.

Do you need advice on how to go about getting letters of recommendation for your undergraduate applications? Here are some links with excellent advice on procedures from Northwestern University, Barbershill Independent School District, Cornell College, and U.C. Berkeley.

Your Junior Leadership will be needing volunteers to help plan and organize the Junior/Senior Prom, an important fund-raising event that benefits the junior class' savings account for it's up-coming senior year. The more successful the prom, the more likely that next year's senior class can afford exciting senior events.
